This is now becoming a major pain, and as the honda hft module is so expensive, I would rather not have to go out and buy one!

This is an iOS 8 issue. I upgraded all my car software.. tried everything but still had all the problems. Everything was fine under iOS7.

I installed iOS 9.1 Beta on my iPhone 5S and it appears that all the problems have been resolved. I connected via BlueTooth and my address book now fully loads. I did search of address book and that works. I placed phone calls. I played music. I then connected USB and for full music interface. All issues have been resolved. I have a BMW 535.

2008 Infiniti G35X. Bluetooth phone connection still works for iPhone 5, but the infotainment system no longer responds to my iPhone when I plug in the cable. Its been a slow death administered by Apple. When iOS 7 came, my iPhone was able to play on the infotainment system through the connected cable, but I couldnt use the in-car knobs to makes selections. When I finally gave in an upgraded to iOS 8.3, the car simply didnt recognize my phone anymore. Really pisses me off that Apple is dictating the obsolescence of my car.

How To Delete Paired Bluetooth Phones In A Honda

Weve driven a few Hondas lately, and they all have one annoying feature in their infotainment systems: there are six Bluetooth pairing spots available, and its not at all obvious how to delete one pre-existing phones data so you can pair your own phone.

Basically if you go into Bluetooth pairing menu, and there are already six devices paired via Bluetooth to your car, the Add a new device option is greyed out. In the surrounding menus, theres line item that allows you to delete a paired device.

Similarly, if you go into the list of paired Bluetooth phones, you can only select phones youd like to attempt a connection with. Theres still no way here to delete any of the paired phones from the Hondas infotainment systems memory.

The solution is to click on the physical Phone button, and answer No to the question Would you like to pair to a phone?. From the resulting menu select Phone Setup, then Bluetooth Setup, then scroll down to Delete Device, and then delete away to your hearts content.

    Help: Honda Bluetooth Handsfree Link

  • anon6040766Was hoping someone could help me out here. Have a new Verizon Q10 coming tomorrow so will obviously update to 10.2.1, I was hoping to get answer before purchasing a new car. I’m looking at a new 2014 Honda that comes with what they call “Honda Bluetooth Handsfree Link”. Apparently, you need to download two apps to make it work, they are only available as iPhone and Android apps. Anybody with 10.2.1 feel like taking a look to see if they’re in there in the Amazon Store, Snap, or any other way to load an Android app to a BlackBerry 10 Device?HondaLink Aha is the name…Thanks…

  • Former_Palm_Addict_FolsomI have a 2013 Honda Accord Touring edition with all the electronics. I have a Blackberry Q10. No additional software is required for the Bluetooth to function for telephone type functions. The phone directory is loaded into the car without a problem. All you need to do is link the phone like any other Bluetooth device. I love my Accord. The GPS, radar cruise control and the rest of the electronics work really well. There is a Honda Link program that will provide access to the built in apps like Pandora thru the Internet . This does require a downloaded program. I have not yet gone to the Android sources to load. I didn’t see the value for me. Hope this helps.03-19-14 09:24 PM
