What About Surround Sound
Most soundbars claim to offer some form of simulated surround sound, but this can be a bit misleading. Audio processing and driver placement can create a sense of being surrounded by sound even when the only speakers are directly in front of you, but the large sound field can’t reproduce the accurate imaging of a surround system with dedicated satellites for each channel. If you really want to feel surrounded by your movies and for every sound effect to come from just the right direction, you need a full surround sound speaker system, or at least a soundbar with separate satellites for the rear audio channels.
There’s also the matter of the type of surround sound you want to listen to. Conventional 5.1- and 7.1-channel audio is common for a lot of content, but home theater sound has gone beyond that with spatial audio. Systems like Dolby Atmos map every source of sound in what you’re watching to a location around you in a 3D space, and calculate just how to mix the audio to best reproduce their locations whether your speakers have two drivers or dozens. It’s very immersive, especially with the addition of upward-facing drivers to produce sounds that give a sense of height and not just horizontal movement. Not all soundbars support Dolby Atmos, though, and not all that support Atmos have the drivers necessary for height.
What If I Want To Mount The Soundbar Above The Projector Screen
First of all, I dont support the soundbar mounting above the projector screen. If you have not purchased the soundbar and are searching for the soundbar. I will suggest you go with the speakers.
If you already have a soundbar. Then lets see what are those things you should know. You have to forget about the Dolby sound effect.
Because all the soundbar has to be put in normally over the table. To get the Dolby atmos effect from the soundbar.
In this situation. You should only care about the good sound quality. Because mounting the soundbar bar. Over the projector screen will alter the Dolby Atmos effect.
So now how you connect your video and audio device. The first option will be to use the receiver. Your HDMI cable will go from the projector to the receiver.
And on the receiver, you will get the various ports to connect your soundbar. By using the receiver you will centralize all your devices.
Or if your soundbar has two HDMI ports input and output. Then the source device will go into the input port. And with the output port, you have to connect to the projector.
Or you can connect your source device with the projector. And then connect with the soundbar/speakers from the projector available port.
Should You Try To Connect Your Projector With A Soundbar
A projector inbuilt speakers are not that good. And the soundbar is pretty handy. But soundbar are not to be built for the projector.
Thats why you may have some issue. To get the best sound output from the soundbar. But dont worry about that.
Because in this article. I have talk about the every possible way. To connect your soundbar and projector.

Solo Stove Bonfire Fire Pit
Solo Stoves Bonfire Fire Pit is great for if you want to huddle around a cozy fire during your outdoor movie sesh, but dont want all the pesky smoke blocking the screen. The circular pit sits on a base plate that allows air to flow inside. This keeps oxygen flowing through the fire pits double wall, and allows ash to fall down into the ash pan .
The venting system also doesnt use batteries or fans, and enables a feature Solo Stove calls a secondary burn, which occurs when hot air from the double wall is pushed up and over the flames. This air is hot enough to burn wood particles that would have otherwise turned into smoke. You end up with a pit that can burn wood better than similar pits, and one you can use even if its a little windy.
Solo Stove is also highly portable, at only 14-inches tall, 19.5-inches wide, and weighs just 20 pounds. If smoke and an extended cleanup time are whats keeping you from getting a fire pit for your backyard movie night, Solo Stoves Bonfire is the one you should get.

Connecting A Soundbar With A Projector Using An Extended Hdmi Cable
Especially when working with newer projectors, you will likely find that the port compatibility options between both your Soundbar and your projector tend to be HDMI ports.
If this is the case, then you can use an HDMI cable to connect the two devices. If you are using an older projector, you might find that it does not have HDMI compatibility. In this case, you can use an HDMI converter on the end of another type of cable, or you can opt for another type of connection.
Still, it is also important to remember that since your projector will likely be sitting in the rear of the room or at least the middle of your room , you will need to find a way to hide the HDMI cable. that you are using to establish this connection.
If you dont hide the HDMI cable, it will get in the way of your screen or could become a tripping hazard .
With this in mind, consider the following steps for using an extended HDMI cable to connect your Soundbar and projector :

Hide The Extended Hdmi Cable
Now that you have connected the Soundbar with your projector , and you know that all of your equipment works, it is time to hide the extended HDMI cable.
Leaving the cable out is not only visually distracting and unappealing, but a loose cord could become a safety hazard in your home theater as well.
You can choose how you would like to hide it. There are a few options like hiding it behind the sheet rock in your walls, running it through the ceiling, or using some kind of cable track that can be secured onto the floor or wall. Either way, you just need to make sure that you do not have loose cords in your home theater room.

How To Connect A Soundbar To A Projector With Hdmi
HDMI is the best option for connecting a soundbar to a projector because it provides the highest sound quality and support for more than just two audio channels. If you want to use this method, your soundbar needs an HDMI or HDMI ARC input port, and your projector needs an HDMI output port. Youll also need to buy an HDMI cable if you dont have one already.
Heres how to connect a soundbar to your projector with HDMI:
Turn your soundbar and projector off.
Connect an HDMI cable to an HDMI or HDMI ARC output on your projector.
Connect the other end to an HDMI or HDMI ARC input on your soundbar.
Connect a media input device, like a streaming device, laptop, or Blu-ray player to your projector.

Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 924ch: Unique Best Soundbar For Projector
This is a powerhouse, both literally and figuratively. Literally because it has a power consumption of 1000W. Thats pretty much unheard of for soundbar home theater systems because most of them have a power consumption under 100W.
The Shockwafe Ultra 9.2Ch has a power consumption 3-4 times higher than most projectors that we can buy.
Theres also an Eco mode but that just means that the system goes into standby after being inactive for 20 minutes, which pretty much all other soundbars do.
I intentionally used the name powerhouse because its not the kind of system that should be bought by people who dont have much time or patience to get acquainted with what a set-up like the Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2Ch can do.
To just give you a short indication of why I say that, I should mention that the remote control has more buttons than my TV remote control. If you study it for a bit, youll see that its not exactly complicated but it can seem daunting at first glance.
The 9.2.4 configuration is unique. Only this manufacturer can claim it. How can we not talk about something unique in a market filled with really good sound systems? Even if the price might be too much for some of us, its still nice to know about it.
There are 6 full range drivers and 2 high frequency tweeters in the 45-inch soundbar, 2 wireless subwoofers, and 4 satellite speakers, which are also called modular surround effects speakers. Theres a total of 18 drivers.
