    Some people are naturally more nervous than others but who doesnt have something bothering them on some level, whether thats a significant other, a job, the weatheryou name it? Part of 21st Century life is being bothered by something, and while that might be great for those who sell blood pressure pills, not so for ones health overall. So forget about Yoga or meditating while staring at the ceiling and give HeartMaths Inner Balance Senssor a try. And since the sensor clips to the base of the ear , and I dont have earlobes well thats just more stress that Ill have to deal with in reviewing it. But all jokes aside, getting ones stress under control can be a huge benefit and if Inner Balance can help me do this without a lot of new age nonsense, Ill all for it. Since it works through tech the hardware consists of a module that connects to the iOS device through a Lightning connector for use on compatible iPhones/iPads , in conjunction with a free app, well Im all for that.

    Designed to work in tandem with an iPhone, one end of the Inner Balance cable goes into either the Dock or Lightning connector , with the sensor end clipped to the earlobe for readings. This is non-invasive and barely noticeable, which means that the sensor can be worn for an extended period of time without incident. Many of my clients prefer looking at soothing images or just keeping their eyes closed. There is no right or wrong wayfind your own way to high heart coherence.

      The Inner Balance Bluetooth is a new product that works with both Android and iOS – iPhone and iPad. You just need to turn the bluetooth on in your device and connect it to the bluetooth connector. The only difference between the two sensors is the way they connect to your device. Both sensor options connect to the same great Inner Balance App Experience.

      Inner Balance Bluetooth use BT4.0 which works at an output power range of 0.5 milliWatts or less – this is significantly lower than mobile phones which typically have output levels between 250 mW and 2000 mW. The tiny bluetooth emitter is in the module that attaches to your garment, not in the ear sensor. Inner Balance Bluetooth is compliant with applicable FFC tests.

      Amazing App But Add More Breathing Techniques

      I love the app. But would love to see more breathing techniques added, maybe they dont need to be part of the challenges, but would be awesome for meditation/bed time. Some suggestions would be:1. Triangle Breathing – in for X seconds, hold for X seconds, exhale for X seconds2. Box Breathing – in for X seconds, hold for X seconds, out for X seconds, hold for X seconds3. 4-8 Breathing – in for 4 seconds, out for 8 seconds 4. Breath Hold – in fully and hold for X secondsSome of these techniques are great before sleep or when you need to relax. Not sure how the coherence scores might factor in here, so could be left for just a simple meditation, but would be neat to see what kind of biofeedback we should be looking for while doing these too. Anyway, great app! Love my lightning cord!
