How Does A Wirelessspeaker Kit Make Speakers Wireless

How to Convert Speaker into Bluetooth Speaker

Whether you run a cable television or use a wireless kit is dependant upon where the rear speakers are located. Running the speaker wires can be laborious depending on the design of the room, this is where the wireless transferring and receiving can be found in. If you have any questions, simply leave a comment, and I will do my best to address your question!

There are two main kinds of wirelessspeaker sets:

No built-in amplifier. It just sends an audio signal and needs an extra amp to power the speakers.

Includes a built-in amplifier.

I recommend getting a set without any integrated amp because its most likely that the power output from the wireless receiving system is very low. Much less than what your existing receiver/amplifier will output.

Keep in mind the inputs available on the transmitting unit and the outputs available on your A/V receiver. If your receiver has pre-outs , then you can merely connect RCAs from the receiver to the sending system.

If your receiver does not have pre-outs, then ensure the transmitting unit accepts routine speaker wire as an input. Or you can use a line-level adapter to convert speaker results in RCAs. Some packages will consist of an input and output for a subwoofer! A great deal of subwoofers consist of an integrated amp, so this is generally really easy to connect. I will go further into how whatever links in the future.

  • Connect the audio outputs of a source device to the audio inputs of the wireless transmitter.

  • Connect the wired speakers to the wireless receiver with standard speaker wire.

We recommend you do a little research before making your own purchasing decisions.

The actual receiver is pretty tiny, in fact, its smaller than a standard square Post-it® note.

Bluetooth receivers can come with a variety of outputs and features depending on your needs. Some might have optical audio connections, others sport RCA plugs for left and right channels. You can pair via Bluetooth, or for a little more money, some models come with NFC for instant tap-to-pair abilities.

This receiver is pretty barebones, though it doesnt really need to be fancy. A simple LED on the front tells us when it is paired to a device. On the back is a 5V USB power connector, and a 3.5mm stereo output.

The setup is simple. Plug the device into a power source, connect it from the audio out directly to your speakers audio cable or an auxiliary input.

With that done, the only thing left to do is to pair it. This particular model can store up to eight different audio sources.
