Connect A Printer To Windows 10
Different printers have their own set-up processes for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Consult your owner’s manual to see how to get started.
Tip: You might need to update to the latest version of Windows 10 to make sure you have up-to-date driver support.
Windows 10 should easily find any printer connected to the same local network via Wi-Fi.
Go to the Start menu and click Settings, Devices, then Printers & scanners. Select Add a printer or scanner and wait for your printer to appear in the list, then select it and hit Add device.
If Windows doesn’t find your printer, select The printer that I want isn’t listed and follow the instructions.
Another solution could be to plug the printer into your laptop or desktop with a USB cable. This can force the computer to recognise the printer and install the drivers. After it’s done, unplug the printer from USB and see if your computer continues to detect it.
If Windows doesn’t already have them, the printer drivers should download and install. If not, you can get them from the manufacturer’s website.
First, make sure your printer is open to new Bluetooth pairings. Check your owner’s manual for instructions.
To enable Bluetooth on your Windows computer, click the notification icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen and check that Bluetooth is toggled on. You might have to click Expand to see the Bluetooth control.

Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard Not Working On Hp Elitebook 830 G6
I have a similar issue as:
Unfortunately, neither of these provide a solution:
Here’s my problem:
I can pair the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard to my laptop by pressing the pair button, it will ask me to input the pairing code and press enter, which the keyboard will work up to this point. It pairs, then becomes unresponsive.
In the “peripherals and printers” -> “Bluetooth Keyboard” -> “Properties” -> “Services” tab, this tab is blank and there is no checkbox to tick here.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Bluetooth driver and the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard driver.
I’ve also made sure that in services.msc that the “start up type” is “automatic”. Also in the device manager, I’ve also checked “allow this device to wake this computer”.
I have also downloaded the “Mouse and Keyboard Center”, and the most interesting thing is the Keyboard will not show up on the main page of the Keyboard Center, but in the “Support” and “devices”, it will show up, which I don’t understand, since it the software recognizes and does not recognize it at the same time?
I’ve searched several different threads and have not been able to find a solution. This is truly a baffling and frustrating situation where I know the Keyboard works , but afterwards becomes unresponsive after pairing is completed.
Any assistance not described above would be greatly appreciated.

How To Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems
by Suzanne Kantra on July 01, 2021in , , , ::
Bluetooth is a popular method of wirelessly transferring data between two devices such as your phone and your headphones, your media player and a speaker, or your iPad and a keyboard. Its one of the most widely used wireless technology in the world, according to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. More than 4.6 billion Bluetooth products are expected to ship this year alone, and that number will likely increase to more than 6 billion per year by 2024.
Bluetooth is all great when it works. But if youre someone who likes to play around with these kinds of connected gadgets, you know it can be frustrating when theres a hang-up pairing the two. Here are some common causes of pairing problems as well as advice on what you can do about them.

Why Bluetooth Pairings Fail
Bluetooth depends on both hardware and software to work properly. So if your devices can’t speak a common Bluetooth language, they wont be able to connect.
In general, Bluetooth is backward compatible: Bluetooth devices supporting the Bluetooth 5 standard should still be able to pair with devices using, say, the ancient Bluetooth 2.1, launched back in 2007.
The exceptions are gadgets that use a low-energy version called Bluetooth Smart, which works on a different protocol than older, or “Classic” Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth Smart devices are not backward compatible and won’t recognize older devices that support Classic Bluetooth.
However, if a device supports Bluetooth 4.0 , 4.2 or 5.0 and higher , it should recognize both Bluetooth Smart and Classic. Bluetooth 4.0 devices will be officially labeled Bluetooth Smart Ready. In the case of Bluetooth 4.2 and 5 and higher, it’s expected.
Gadgets that commonly use Bluetooth Smart include personal health gadgets such as fitness bands or heart-rate monitors. These gadgets will only pair with a smartphone or tablet that also uses Bluetooth Smart or are Bluetooth Smart Ready.
Most smartphones are Bluetooth Smart compatible. That includes iPhones running iOS 7 and newer and Android phones running 4.3 or newer. Ensure your phone is running the latest version of its operating system but if your device isn’t new enough to run relatively current software, you may not be able to pair it with that fitness band.
Make Sure The Bluetooth Signal Is On
If you cannot pair your computer with a Bluetooth device, you need to confirm that the Bluetooth device signal is enabled. When the Bluetooth device is turned off, you cannot pair an existing device, add a new device, or modify Bluetooth settings.
Open Device Manager, and then click the arrow next toBluetooth or Bluetooth Radios.
If your device displays in the list, the Bluetooth signal is on. Continue to the next step.
If your device does not display in the list, right-click the Bluetooth card, select Enable device, and then try to pair.

Remove Any Wireless Interference
If you cannot pair your computer with a Bluetooth device, you need to remove any wireless interference between the Bluetooth device and your computer. The Bluetooth wireless signal between your computer and device might be too weak to make a good connection.
Be sure that the device is on and discoverable.
Check for and turn off Bluetooth on any other devices that are not being used.
Move the computer and device closer together, usually within 10 m .
Be sure that there are no objects between your computer and device. Objects such as TVs, microwaves, cordless phones, or other wireless devices can weaken Bluetooth signals.
Try to pair the device.
Set Up The Printer Again
When you change the router password, the printer wont be able to connect to the Wi-Fi network. At this point, it needs to be set up again as a new printer. To do so, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Begin the pairing process by pressing the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button simultaneously for a few seconds. When the Power button starts blinking, youll know that the printer is on set-up mode.
Step 2: Now fire up the HP Smart app on your Windows PC, and press the Printer icon on the left panel.
The rest of the job is pretty much automatic as the tool begins its setup process of obtaining and processing the printer information.
If any of the above doesnt work, try restarting your computer. In the meantime, you can use Wi-Fi Direct on the HP DeskJet 2600 to get your work done.

1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time to invoke the Run box.
2) Type services.msc and click OK.
3) Scroll down and find the Print Spooler service.
4) If the service is running, right click on the service and select Stop, then right click on the service and click Start to restart the service.

Turn On Discoverable Mode
Lets say you want to pair your phone with your cars infotainment system so you can enjoy hands-free calling, texting and navigation. First, go into your phones settings and tap on Bluetooth doing so makes the phone visible to the car. Then depress the buttons on your car’s infotainment system, usually on the steering wheel or center stack, to get it looking for the device.
Once it finds your phone, the car may ask for a numeric code that you’ll need to confirm or input on your phone. After you do so, the devices should be paired. Keep in mind your phone or your car may only stay in discoverable mode for a few minutes if you take too long, youll need to start over.
If your device is new, it will often be in pairing mode when you first turn it on. A good indicator that a device is in pair mode is if it blinks. If the device has been paired with another device, you’ll need to turn on pairing mode.

How To Fix Bluetooth Issues On Windows 10
Because the causes of a faulty Bluetooth connection can vary, there are numerous possible solutions to try. Here are the most effective ways to fix common Windows 10 Bluetooth problems.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Sometimes Bluetooth is accidentally disabled on Windows 10 computers and tablets. To confirm it’s on, open the Windows 10 Action Center by selecting the system tray icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, and look at the Bluetooth icon. If it’s dim, Bluetooth is turned off. Select the Bluetooth icon to turn it on.
If you turn on Windows 10 Airplane mode while in the air, turn it off after you land. This setting disables Wi-Fi, location settings, and Bluetooth. This can be done by clicking the Airplane mode tile in the Action Center.
Turn Bluetooth on and off again. A quick reset of the Bluetooth setting can often fix any connectivity issues. This manually forces your device to search for Bluetooth devices.
To turn Bluetooth on and off, open the Windows 10 Action Center, select the Bluetooth tile to turn it off, wait several seconds, then select the Bluetooth tile again to turn it on.
Move the Bluetooth device closer to the Windows 10 computer. It’s possible that your Bluetooth device could be out of range of your Windows 10 computer or tablet. Place one next to the other when making the initial connection.
